We’re starting another weight loss challenge today!  We have some real excited people who are ready to make the summer of 2008 their time to become more healthy and change their lives forever!!!  I’m going to try to post a great “before” picture, but my “blogging” skills are in the beginner category!  Let me know if you are doing something similar, or if you would like more information on what we are doing.

Tonight is week 9 of our 12 week challenge.  Everyone is losing weight and inches and boy are we learining lots (example:  There are 18 teaspoons of sugar and 294 calories from sugar in a 20 oz bottle of Sunny Delight–and that’s supposed to be healthy)!!

I’ll post before and after pictures (with permission) after week 12.  And, we’re talking about the next weight loss challenge.  If you’re interested in participating, email me for information.

Well, we viewed the Body Worlds event in Los Angeles.  Wow!!   It took us 4.5 hrs to go through the entire exhibit.  It was fascinating and well worth the time.  My advice is to go first thing in the morning or the lines will be very long and to spend $5 extra so you can get the audio version.  I have an all new appreciation of my body and how it works and why I want to do my best to keep myself healthy!!

Well, we just had week 4 of our biggest loser and so far everyone is losing weight and noticing how much better they feel. One gentleman has lost 18 lbs. in the 3 weeks he’s been participating! And just as important, everyone is losing inches!!
